what going on?
Survive the Night Story: A disgraced doctor and his family are held hostage in their house by offenders busy, when a robbery-gone-awry requires them to seek immediate medical attention.
Survive the Night Review: Back in SURVIVE the night time, two robber brothers — the incharge Mathias (Tyler Jon Olson) and the loosecannon Jamie (Shea Buckner) — successfully pull off a job and plan to flee to Mexico with their takings. But then Jamie shoots a convenience store, also Mathias gets hit in the leg. To rescue his life, the brothers break into the house of Rich (Chad Michael Murray), a disgraced doctor who lost his license following a custody lawsuit. The brothers accidentally shoot and kill Rich’s mum and take Rich’s family — wife Jan (Lydia Hull), girl Rachel (Jessica Abrams), along with father Frank (Bruce Willis) — hostage. However, Franka hard, retired man, isn’t about to shoot any one of this sitting down. Before long, the entire family is fighting to get their lifestyles.
This movie sounds and looks like a true thriller, however, the premise and the characters’ behaviors and interactions are so delightfully absurd it is nearly impossible to turn off your brain and love. Survive the night time creates its six chief personalities through 2 irritatingly casual conversations. To begin with, Mathias and Jamie escape from their robbery and then, despite the fact that they’re in a rush, pull into a parking lot to avoid and go over their plans to move to Mexico. Meanwhile, Rich’s family has a debate about his choice to never fight the malpractice suit (in regards to a man who died under his care). It’s as though that could be the first time they’ve mentioned it, that will be truly difficult to trust.
Plus, Rich’s dialogue describing what went wrong is laughable:”I cut when I will have stitched or stitched if I will have cut… I do understand!” And then later, once the cat and mouse section starts, Survive the night time has a hard time keeping tabs on every one. Characters are stuck in one location for extended periods of time or else spend long periods of time tripping around, bleeding around the area, looking to each other, and shooting at (and missing) each other. There’s even a completely moot vehicle chase. Perhaps most awkwardly, the movie attempts to help make the criminal brothers marginally perceptible but nevertheless treats them with contempt. This picture is really awful that it will make you gob smacked.
