After learning that Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) betrayed her in the most embarrassing way imaginable, and all the friends they shared were on it, Tessa (Josephine Langford) does her best to try and slice her life back together.

But while Tessa attempts to proceed and get away from Hardin, he turn puts out to prove that his feelings for her are genuine. Unsure she could endure a more broken promise, Tessa focuses on her studies and her exciting new internship in Vance Publishing, where she meets a handsome coworker, Trevor (Dylan Sprouse).
